Hannah Rebekah Pamplin

Art Psychotherapist

Hello everyone - I'm Hannah, an HCPC and BAAT registered art psychotherapist. Within therapy I aim to create a safe and healing environment to support clients move from surviving to truly living. Sometimes finding the right words to communicate can be really hard so we will use art as an aid for communication. You don't have to be 'good' at art to do art therapy - if you enjoy being creative in any way, shape or foam - You might find art therapy is the right fit for you. I would love the honour of working with you to support your healing journey. I look forward to hearing from you

I work in a non-directive, client centred approach which means that rather than doing a specific activity/theme which has been planned prior to the session, I will allow clients to explore what they wish to do & discuss. I believes the best environment for effective therapeutic work to take place is one where the client feels safe, and I endeavour to do this by building a strong therapeutic relationship in the sessions. Primarily, I works with an art psychotherapeutic format but draw on another therapeutic approaches and understandings such as mindfulness, trauma-informed, attachment-based psychotherapy and neurobiological evidence based practise.
